OUR VERY OWN THEATRE COMPANY
The company brings original works and adaptations to the stage on a regular basis. Our theatre group is totally inclusive. We invite all locals to write, act, direct or learn theatre craft. Our rehearsal space is a safe place where you will be supported and encouraged by experienced industry professionals. The company is open to all, there is no membership fee, but membership to the BCA is required for insurance.
Members of the company write, direct, and make sets, props, costumes, and soundscapes. Many of our company come from theatrical and design backgrounds. We do creative work on a serious scale, always pushing boundaries, and always looking for new ways to tell a story.
MPT is a busy adult theatre company. We also run Melting Pot Youth Theatre. MPYT is a registered Child Safe Organisation with Service NSW.
